• Provide OSP design, price quotes to sales and project management on fiber optic cable
projects that can give diversity with optimum future availability.
• Bring in projects at or under budget using local, state and federal codes and communications
standards.
• Plan, engineer and coordinate the engineering detail of the placement and reroutes of fiber
optic communications cable on Transmission, Distribution lines and underground facilities
(OPGW, ADSS, Dielectric, Armored, Interlocking Armored Cable, Plenum, Riser Rated).
• Select and interview contractors, review bids, award projects.
• Trained technicians all aspects of fiber optic splicing, testing, safety and documentation and
good trouble shooting procedures.
